Secured Credit Cards are cards backed up or secured by funds you have deposited with the financial institution of your choice. The secured mastercard or visa card looks like a credit card, and acts like a credit card but will have a certain limit depending on the amount of money that secures the card. Over time you can rebuild credit with this type of card and even get your limit increased once you build up a good payment history.
